The Web Design Hero Advantage
What distinguishes me from other developers and consultants out there?
Located in the USA: I am not a front for some offshore or India operation. I am a native English speaker (please feel free to contact me in your native tongue as well; I can also communicate in Spanish/Español). I have and will continue to do business globally with customers in the USA, EU, Latin America, and Asia and will work across both language and regional boundaries.
Experience: I have been developing on the web since the late 90s and have worked with many technologies. This allows me to quickly pick up the new tools you need for your project and allows me to proficient on specific platforms and programming languages.
Communication: One of the most important factors in project success is clear and thorough communication. Before starting on any project I will work with you to make sure all your goals are well defined. I will communicate you throughout the project to address concerns and will use a formal change/modification process to ensure the project continues down the right path.
Realistic Pricing: Can’t believe some of the low rates you see on freelancer websites or from off-shore developers? How can they offer such low rates? The reality is that things that look too good to be true usually are. Based on the experiences of my clients who had previously gone this route, you often experience poor communication and lack of understanding which is the result of “factory programming” where your application is built to best fit those developers' processes instead of your needs. Others have told me about poor communication which leads to scope creep and skyrocketing costs or that the original bid was much less than the final price once they were trapped in by a developer. I will give you upfront estimates and can set up your project financing at either an hourly rate or lump-sum, depending on which will best benefit you. I will help control project costs by keeping in constant contact with you and using good project management methodologies and planning practices.
Select only the best clients: While some developers will take on any project just to make a buck, I have actually turned down many projects in the past. It might sound crazy, but it actually makes lot of sense. By selecting interesting and well defined relationships I know I will be excited and motivated to deliver the best results. I am looking to build partnerships and long term relationships with my customers. Many of my customers are repeat customers – they keep coming back because I take an interest in their project and dreams, not just in their code. I want to make sure that you are serious about your goals and are committed long term to your project. I know that by working together we can both succeed.
